USPSA training

At the suggestion of one of my commentors, I am adding a post on the structure and goals of my USPSA training with Tim Tucker.

The goal of the training is to boost me from a “B” class USPSA shooter to at least an “A” class USPSA shooter in 90 days. This should put me at an A class shooter before the Double Tap match in March 2010.

The training is scheduled with live fire practices every tuesday and thursday, and I dryfire every night to make the new skills subconcious. When I am not doing schoolwork or dryfire practice I am reloading so I can meet the 250 round requirement for each session. So my normal day now consists of schoolwork, dryfire, reloading, and occasionally Airsoft.

Actually it would be from certified D, to A. You probably shoot at a high C now, but not enough classifiers to score you as such.

And the other important part of the training is mental, through a book – name it. And through stress in the training, as when we ended last week.

Yes, I am a certified “d” class shooter in LIMITED-10 division, not Limited. The book you are thinking of is Dan Millman’s “Body Mind Mastery”.
