hey i agree, whenever your moving you need to keep your gun up as much as possible and the trick to shooting on the move is rolling your feet while you move and keeping good sight picture. but it sounds like you did very good all around.

Brian: Do you by any chance speak English in addition to Guns & Ammo? I really enjoy your blog but most of it ——–> right past my head. Maybe a tour of the “nelson gun shop” would help. Then I would understand what you are saying. But, I would hate to play “grandma” and say, “Gee, Brian when was the last time the maid came in here?”
Maybe a visit to the range would help too.

Impressive! My only concern is that it run my .22 training guns out to 25 yards (which it does very well). I’ve used a Marvel 1911 conversion and AutoMatch to ring steel at 50 yards and that’s about as far as I’ve taken it.

Brian,

This ammunition is what I use in my CZ452 LUX lefty for distance training. Of all the 22lr ammunition this is the best performer for my bolt action at 100, 200 and 300yds. At 100yds it shoots SUB-MOA, at 200yds this ammunition shoots about 1 1/2 MOA groups (3in) at 300yds you are looking a 3 MOA (9″) Groups.

This stuff rocks, I had a student come to a rifle class with his AR and a standard 16″ 10/22 no mod’s what so ever, with a cheap $50 Simmons 3-9 optic he could ring steel at 300yds with his 10/22.

I am taking a wild guess here but “some kid” was not you. I guess that “some kid” got the shock of his life when his gun exploded in his face. Lesson learned, I hope.
