IDPA match 2-13-2011

The first stage started with the gun loaded with all mags in a shopping bag on a table, the shooter sitting in a chair. 5 targets faced you with two non-threat targets partially obscuring three of them.

…You start by throwing a frisbee at a very close target (a 3 second penalty is assessed if the frisbee doesn’t hit the target), then draw from concealment, engage all 5 targets with 3 rounds each in “tactical sequence” from near to far.

Anatomy of a Racegun part 3, Para Ordnance

This means that some 1911 parts will not fit Para Ordnance high capacity pistols, specifically triggers, magazine catches, and Safeties The traditional 1911 has two safeties, a grip safety and a thumb safety (on the Para this safety is ambidextrous).
